A cabaret singer finds herself arguing with the waitress at the club where she has just performed. Between confidences and cigarettes, he finds in her the ghosts of the past that confront her with what she has become today. Lola and Wilma is a short that speaks of the weight of the past, of violence against women but also of the lack of support for abused women. A short film that represents the first small chapter of a larger film project, Handrolling, which tells of thoughts and stories that are born in the small bubble of confidences that forms while smoking a cigarette.
